New Grooved Idler Pulley fits various Nissan and Infiniti models equipped with a VQ35HR or VQ37VHR powertrain. This component is a lower cost alternative to the OEM Belt Idler Pulley, letting you keep a few extra bucks in your wallet for future modifications!

Located on the front of the VQ37 in your Nissan / Infiniti, the idler pulley is responsible for guiding and maintaining tension with the drive belt. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high pitch squeaking or squealing. Over time this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and break the belt.

NOTE: Whenever idler or tensioner pulleys are replaced due to failure, it is important to carefully inspect the belt for excessive wear. New OEM drive belts can be purchased

Sold Individually | VQ35HR's are only equipped with a single grooved idler. VQ37VHR's are equipped with two grooved idlers (illustrated in the pictures).

The illustration in the pictures shows fitment on VQ37VHR. Fitment is similar on HR, however only one grooved pulley is used.
