The Z1 Motorsports Aluminum Undershroud for the 2009-2014 NISMO 370Z was developed to replace your stock or missing undershroud with a rigid, aluminum panel. Thus, increasing front fascia rigidity, improving airflow, and making oil changes easier!

The stock undershroud on your 370Z was designed primarily to protect sensitive, under-body components from weather and small road debris. Unfortunately, these plastic panels are expensive, not very strong, and are susceptible to damage. The Z1 aluminum undershroud provides far more protection than stock by providing more rigidity and durability than soft, plastic undershrouds.

While its primary feature may be durability, the design of the '09-'14 NISMO bumper provided our engineers with numerous opportunities for additional enhancements. To improve engine cooling, a large honeycomb vent was added to the center section of the panel. On both sides of the center panel, winglets reach out to the corner of the longer NISMO bumper. In the upswept area of the winglets, our engineers added an additional vent to direct air upwards into the wheel well and improve airflow to the brakes. In addition to this ventilation, a locator tab was added to the outside of both winglets. This tab aids in the installation of the winglets, ensuring they can be fit properly inside the splitter portion of the bumper where visibility is the worst. To further improve rigidity and reduce the opportunity for rattles, these winglets are bolted to the center panel on every plane.

The Z1 undershroud does away with the flimsy plastic clips that hold the center section to the crossmember. Instead, we elected to use rivnuts and threaded hardware to better secure your undershroud. The best part, is that you don't need to purchase a rivnut tool to install your undershroud, we've included one with the hardware at no extra cost.

Removable Service Panel

In order to service your car, the undershroud must be removed. The Z1 Undershroud has a removable service panel, considerably larger than other similar undershrouds providing you with easy access and plenty of room to spare! By removing two bolts, you can swing the entire panel clear of the oil pan, making plenty of room for mess-free oil changes! The removable service panel features large vented louvers, helping improve airflow on both sides of the panel and evacuating excessive heat.
