From the first GT-R in the 7's, to the first 300mph motorcycle, Injector Dynamics was there. In fact, Injector Dynamics equipped cars have set so many records that we lost count years ago.

There is however, more to fuel injection than world records. Even more important are things like idle quality, tune-ability, consistency, and accuracy of supplied data. These are the qualities that have made them the tuners choice, because their reputation is dependent on the end result.

Injector Information

The ID725 exists for those applications where the ID1000 is just a little bit too big, and will maintain strict linearity at flow rates that will satisfy even the smallest engines. This makes the ID725 ideal for emissions compliant OEM applications while offering the high flow rates required for mildly boosted motors. With pressure capability in excess of 8 bar, this injector has found a home in many different applications.

From upgrade injectors on V8's running factory Ford or GM ECU's, to OEM supply on everything from emissions legal turbo kits to Noble's 650hp M600, the ID725 is holding its own with the ID1000 and ID2000 which have achieved near cult status in the motorsport community.

850cc

The ID850 was added to the Injector Dynamics lineup to fill the need for a high flow injector in a small package. Specifically, GM’s LS motors, and various motorcycle applications such as Suzuki’s GSX, and Kawasaki’s ZX machines. With linearity matching that of the ID1000, and broad fitment options due to its small size, the ID850 is a highly versatile injector.

Most notable is the fact that the ID850 is the only direct fit high flow injector available for GM LS3, LS7, L76, L92, and L99 motors that is supplied with accurate characterization tables for GM PCM tuning. That means easy and accurate tuning, for a better calibration with less time invested.

1000cc

The ID1000 was the first offering from Injector Dynamics, and was also the first to offer a number of innovative features to the motorsport community. This series of innovations and "firsts" have made it the most popular - and most copied - injector on the market today. With a maximum pressure capability of 7 bar and smooth response at low flow, this is a versatile injector that will be at home in many different applications. From high power high boost daily drivers, to NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles and record setting turbo road race sedans, the ID1000 set the standard and marked the beginning of a new era in fuel injector performance.

1300cc

The ID1300x is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300x was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals.

It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300x was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300x has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300x allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup.

1700cc

The ID1700x is the most recent offering from the partnership of Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport. The ID1700x was designed to fill the gap between the ID1300x and the ID2000, and like the ID1300x, it features corrosion resistant internals making it compatible with all known automotive fuels.

A unique magnetic circuit, resulting from a lengthy development program, makes the ID1700x immune to voltage and pressure sensitivity problems that plague other high impedance high flow injectors. The ID1700x excels at high pressures typical of current automotive systems, and will perform flawlessly in these applications.

Application Notes

The ID1700x was designed to be an all fuel compatible injector, capable of very high flow rates. As such, it will most often be used to deliver E85 to boosted engines, or occasionally, gasoline in extreme high horsepower applications. Neither of these applications requires extended linearity at low flow rates, and so this was given a proportionately lower priority during the design process.

The ID1700x will deliver flawless stoichiometric idle and cruise mixtures on E85, but like the ID2000, should not be expected to do so on gasoline.

If you need flawless drivability on gasoline, the ID1300x will provide this, and is capable of approximately 150hp per injector on E85.

2000cc

The ID2000 has set the standard for linearity and control in a large injector. Flowing in excess of 2000cc/min at 3 bar, the ID2000 will also provide a smooth stoichiometric idle on E85, and it will do all this while maintaining strict linearity up to 95% duty cycle at 9000rpm.

With a pressure capability of 9 bar this injector can flow as much as 3700cc/min with excellent low pulsewidth linearity, and has the broadest operating range of any injector on the market.
