OEM crankshaft pulley fits various VQ35HR and VQ37VHR equipped Nissan and Infiniti models. These pulleys are designed to dampen torsional vibrations from the crankshaft, and minimize bearing and internal part wear by dampening these internal vibrations. When these fail, it is not uncommon for them to slip the belt as they separate, and may cause the belt to 'jump' off of the pulley.
